Mohammad Kaif Statement: पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर मोहम्मद कैफ ने कहा कि अगर इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (IPL) 2026 का ऑक्शन T20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 के बाद होता, तो जिम्बाब्वे के पेसर ब्लेसिंग मुजरबानी को फ्रेंचाइजी से 20 करोड़ से ज़्यादा की सबसे ज़्यादा बोली मिलती। टूर्नामेंट में अब तक उनका सीज़न शानदार रहा है, उन्होंने तीन ग्रुप स्टेज मैचों में 7.88 के एवरेज और 5.91 के इकॉनमी रेट से नौ विकेट लिए हैं।

कैफ ने कहा कि मुज़राबानी को बड़ी सैलरी इसलिए नहीं मिली क्योंकि IPL 2026 का ऑक्शन T20 वर्ल्ड कप 2026 से पहले दिसंबर में ही हो चुका था।

अपने यूट्यूब चैनल पर बात करते हुए कैफ ने कहा,
“It is not an easy thing to defeat Australia and then Sri Lanka in their home. The match against Sri Lanka was a sellout one as well. So, to play in front of that home ground, and on a slow pitch, where Pakistan struggled to chase 176, Zimbabwe chased down 179. Zimbabwe showed how to play on that pitch.”
Further, he said,
“Blessing Muzarabani is an exceptional bowler. He will be targeted by IPL franchises in the future. He bowls in every phase of the game, with the new ball and the old. He is six feet eight inches; he also has height. If the IPL Auction was held after the World Cup, and with the way Muzarabani is bowling now, I can tell you with a guarantee that he would have fetched at least 20 crores in the IPL Auction. He is unlucky that the IPL Auction is already done.”
